Tool Audit Made Simple

Watch the tool audit video to see our easy solution for auditing small tools and equipment that field personnel may or may not have.

Often contractors will assign tools out to field workers and those tools will stay out in the field for weeks or months at a time. Tool audit is designed to allow shop managers to reach out and request that field workers "confirm" that they still have the tools the shop thinks they have.

ShareMyToolbox makes it easy to audit all the tools a field employee has or just a few. You can choose the tools by value, by type or any number of other characteristics. This tool list is then sent to the field worker as an audit list. The field person can then pull up each tool and scan them to show that they still have the tool. (If no barcode is present then they simply check off the tool.) The condition of the tool and a note can be captured as well.

A complete history of the tool audits is available for reporting. Audits can even be completed by safety managers, shop assistants or anyone using the ShareMyToolbox app.
